The Smiths - Half A Person

Another go at a Smith's song, this time "Half a Person" great song with the obvious teenage troubled lyrics over the blissful tingle of Johnny Marr's guitar....Playing this through my 23yr old Ross amp and my toneworks KORG AX1000G pedal bank!! sound is poor as only have my Mac to pick it up.... plus my amp is tucked in a corner.... anyhow enjoy..

The Smiths "Vicar In A Tutu"

Again my love of The Smiths, Guitar Playing, Johnny Marr and Social Networking combine to produce this dull effort at the classic Vicar In A Tutu...

Done for Emma Hampton but clearly not even close to the guy who got me playing Johnny Marr.

The Smiths "You Just Haven't Earned It Yet Baby"

Again my love of The Smiths and Guitar have brought me to post another video, not a tutorial but if any one is interested in another post which shows "how to play" I will of course oblige..... enjoy!!!!

The Smiths "This Charming Man"

Here is my first attempt at a tutorial video on youtube for The Smiths "This Charming Man", again not the best of quality and the playing is not the best. It would also be good to know if any one can follow how to learn the song from this tutorial!!! Love learning these songs now as I used to get very frustrated when I was younger.... Enjoy and please add comments or corrections to the Guitar.

The Smiths "I Won't Share You"

I have a passion for music which from a very young age spread to a passion for playing the guitar. The passion started from my brother playing The Smiths in our bedroom at a very young age and has never dwindled since.

Aged 12 my dad gave me his nylon-stringed acoustic guitar and I was hooked. My uncle also loves guitar's and music and I think it run through our veins.

I decided to try a very simple song by The Smiths " I Won't Share you" which is the final track on the "Strangeways Here We Come" album.

Although no singer, I gave it a go!

Who put the "M" in Mancheser?

In 2004 me and a band of friends went on a venture to what would be and probably never relived the greatest concert ever seen....On a Saturday morning I arose to a street full of snow to spend an hour phone-to-ear in the hope of securing tickets to the home comming of Manchester's hero.

Alas 4 tickets were mine! and on the 22.5.04 we set of to Manchester to witness the man himself.

Supported by Franz Ferdinand this was to be a superb show with a DVD to follow which........I happen to be on!!
